I told mine right away because I knew I had to quit asap....actually I tried to call in sick a day saying I had to go to the doctor. I figured if they knew I was sick I could quit a heck of a lot easier the following day. (or at the very least give my two weeks notice)

Well she didn't let me have the day off....and I wasn't feeling well and was all emotional so when I went in and was getting my supplies set up my supervisior asked what was wrong as she heard I called the manager....I just started bawling and told them right there and how I wanted to quit.

of course their telling me that I'm being silly and they'll cut my work load down and blah blah blah.

Ok I did housekeeping at a hotel....I was working with industrial strength chemicals, on my feet ALL day plus heavy lifting NOT good.

So I figured I'd bite the line and see what kind of accomidations they'd give me....well I went to work the next day and NO CHANGES had occured...and I had MORE rooms than the previous day....So I gave my two weeks notice at the end of the day. And I actually never went back.....voluntarily terminated myself. I mean I'm sorry but when it comes to this child I'd rather be safe than sorry.....
