yeast infection a sign of pregnancy?

Last month i was on the board and worried that i may have been pregnant. My period came but four days early which this has never happened before. anyways i moved on. Last week i came down with a yeast infection (my first one ever) now my period is due tomorrow .. My cousin came down with a yeast infection before finding out she was pregnant. I was wondering could this have been the reason i was so early last month.. I dont think i am pregnant only because there was no sexually intercourse during my fertile time and i am having pms symptoms. But, if i was pregnant could a yeast infection be an early sign.. thanks

Re: yeast infection a sign of pregnancy?

Some women do get yeast infections throughout pregnancy but some women get them at various times throughout their life without being pregnant. the only way to know for sure if you are pregnant is to take a Hpt or go and visit your doctor and get tested.

good luck sweetie I hope everything works out the way you wnat it to. keep us updated

Re: yeast infection a sign of pregnancy?

In one word.. NO. A yeast infection is not a sign of pregnancy... women get them all through their life. However... I do believe it can cause your period to go off track... especially if you took medication to fix it. Good luck!!
