I heard that it is best to find out at 20 weeks and up. I found out at 28 weeks, but the bean didn't cooperate. And I got one after that, until he opened his legs. So it takes more than the weeks, the baby has to cooperate.
I went in when I was 20 weeks and the couldn't tell because the baby had it's legs crossed and was positioned breech. But I go back today (22 weeks now) and I was told to drink some caffeine before and hopefully that will get the baby moving
I was 18 wks when we found out. However we had to go back at 22 wks because the chambers of her heart were not big enough for them to check. So if this happens don't be alarmed.
We were told we're having a boy at our u/s at 18 weeks. The person who performed it said that they can't be 100% sure but she said she was 98% so that's pretty good. I really hope they're right b/c we've been calling him Matt for months. It would really mess with my head if he ends up a girl. I guess healthy is all that matters. I hope your baby is positioned so you can tell. Its so exciting. Do they have the 3D or 4D u/s at your hospital? They're amazing to be able to look at your baby's face. Good luck and let us know if you find out.
18 weeks should be perfectly fine to find out the sex!! Most doctors won't look until 18 weeks, so you should be able to tell! I found out at 21 weeks and you could CLEARLY see that she's a girl! Good luck!

Good luck. In know you are having twins, so I hope you can tell both sexes. I won't find out until I am at least 24 weeks (only a little under two weeks away )
18 weeks should be ok. I don't know about with twins, though...since they tend to be smaller. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.
I found out at my 20 week ultrasound that I am having a girl. I know they say not to take that as certain, but the image really was so clear. I hope you manage to find out, and that everything else at the ultrasound goes well.
Hi there , hope your feeling well I actually found out at 15.5 weeks...I had to go in for an amnio and the lovely ultrasound technician who knew how distressed I was over the whole thing, told after the amnio was done that I was having a boy ( he wasnt supposed to tell me , he could lose his job ) Anyway it was confirmed 48 hours later when I got my amnio result that I was having a completely normal healthy baby boy By the way are you having identical twins ? Anyway good luck, I hope they can tell you
