Hello Ladies,

I am 37 weeks along and I haven't had many Braxton Hicks contractions at all. A few times I have felt my uterus tighten up like I was having a contraction.

For the past week I have been having sharp like pains all over my stomache which feel like it could be a contraction but my uterus doesn't tighten up at all. At least I don't think it is. Could this still be a contraction? Could my uterus be tightening up without me knowing it?

I also have pain under my belly. It sometimes feels really tight. I asked my OB and he told me that's braxton hicks. I don't feel my whole belly is tightening, just at under my belly. Sometimes the pain just feels like my bladder is being pressed hard. Sometimes, my thigh is aching too at the time of the contraction. It's like something is tugging my thigh muscle, especially when I'm walking.
