think im pg and taking anti-biotics
 

hi i got a feeling i might be pg but im taking anti-biotics oxytetracycline for my spotty face would these harm the baby do u think ?

I was taking antibiotics before I found out I was pg too. I would suggest researching the medication online first. See what it has to say about pregnant women using it. The information should be fairly easy to find. Each acne medication is different. Mine said that it could cause discoloring in the eyes and teeth, but I was so early in the pg that I don't think it did any harm. Good luck and make sure to ask ur dr. about this the next time you see him

I couldn't find much about that med. I would ask the doctor and definatly find out if you are pregnant or not. GOod luck.

Call your pharmacy, tell them you think you may be pregnant, the specific meds you are taking and ask them if it's safe. It's generally quicker to get a hold of the pharmasist than the doctor. And they are just as if not more able to answer any questions you have.

yeah thats a great idea i never thought of doing that i,ll defintly phone them saves me waiting around for a dr to see me thanks !!!
