Light Cramping

I didn't have bh contractions until I was well into my third trimester. My doctor told me they would feel like menstral cramps and my uterus would get hard. I have had a few every now and then. Last night, I think I had more of them and even a little back pain. Today I am feeling a light cramping. The type of cramp you get a few days before your period so that you know your period is about to start. My uterus is not hard, it gets hard once in a while. The crampy feeling is consistant, not like contractions. It doesn't hurt or anything, just noticable. Does this mean anything? I am due the 26th.

Thanks!!!

Brandi

Re: Light Cramping

Keep an eye on the cramps. If they become consistent and get stronger, it could be an early sign of labor.

Re: Light Cramping

I agree with the above poster. But remember Just becouse you have bh doesnt mean your belly will always get hard cause mine doesnt Im not due for a long time now But ive noticed last night I had some bh also not really painfully just letting you know they are there. But if you are due now Id keep an eye on them for sure. if they dont let up when you walk around or change positions then chances are they are the real contractions and you may need to go into the Er. Contractions dont always have to start out painful for labor they can work up to that point. good luck.
Last time at the doc were you dialated any?

Re: Light Cramping

Thanks ladies. There is no "regularity" to the bh. I just have light cramping now and then. Wednesday I was 1-2 cm dialated and 50% effaced, so I am not expecting to go into labor by tomorrow. I am on standby to be induced Monday. If I get bumped and mother nature doesn't take toll, I am scheduled to be induced on Friday. It feels like forever away!!!

Thanks again!!!
