hey, im 16 and i know some of you are asking yourselves why im not posting of the teen board but i want an answer from someone who has some idea...not someone whos my age and just guessing. So heres my story...
i have been on bc for almost 2 years (Yasmin) and my periods are REALLY regular...i even know what time it comes...well last month there were quite a few things going on and i know i missed a couple but im not sure if they were in a row...anyways i had unprotected sex probably like 5 or 6 times and my period came way later in the day (the right day though) and was extremely light and short it only went from wednesday night to sat morning...it was also not red...it was all brown....im extremely bloated and have been having hotflashes as well as random nausea but im not sure if im pregnant or its something else...any ideas?
You could be pregnant. You should probably take a home pregnancy test to find out for sure. If you already had your period, it's not too early to test. If it's negative and you have an abnormal period next month, you should schedule a doctor's appointment to find out what's going on. Good luck!
You would probably have to switch Bc. I started out on the pill, then went to depo, then to the pill again...and now I am pregnant. I would talk to your doctor about maybe switching the dose or trying a diffrent form. I was always regular on the pill until my body decided it didn't work, then it came 3-4 days late then 20 days late. With Depo, It worked wonderful until about a year, every 3 months I'd get a shot, then I would have to go every month and a half. FInally I switched back to the pill and was on that for 2 years and wound up pregnant. IF you don't get your period in the next week or so, take a test then go and see your doctor. GOod luck
I can tell you exactly what it means to become immune to bc . Lol I was on the depo shot for about 6 months and got pg while on it with my 2 year old. The I was on the Nuva ring and after 1 year of that Im now pg again. I relize I cant take any bc anymore. I wouold do a hpt if I were so. Good luck.
do alot of people become immune to their bc? i mean thats just kinda strange...i really do think i would be ok if i were pregnant but it would just be nice to know...so if i am pg then that so called period would have been implantation bleeding...right?
