A lot of people have commented in regards to me recommending vicks vapo rub for headaches. As long as your not craving it and actually ingesting it, it is safe. Right now I am using the vick's humidifier and the rub for the headaches and such. I have had backaches since the begining, it started in my lower back then middle, now that I am almost done cooking her, my shoulders are starting to hurt. I found that snuggling with a soft cushiony body pillow helps along with one between your legs. I have severe sciatica that I had before I got pregnant so I am also on a mild muscle relaxer for that. Hope that helps!
well i have them all over! i think as long as they dont' feel like menstrual cramp backaches (did that make sense?) that it is normal. I have yet to figure out what to do for them, i cant' take tylenol, so so far I have just had them. If you haven't had the ones that come up your leg into your back yet, they are they most fun! i think it is the sciatic nerve (i might have spelled that wrong) that causes that. My MIL suggested ice for that, cause you can't use a heatign pad or bengay or anything, it does help a little to lay with a small pillow under the part that hurts.
Thanks for all the comments... and the vicks in the vaporizor (sp?) is a wonderful ideal... thanks a lot... and im glad im not the only one with backaches everywhere... thanks again...

Actually a heating pad is ok for sciatica as long as it's not set too high and you are not on it very long. I got a new vaporizer last night and I feel 100% better. I didn't realize I hadn't been 100% but after a good nights sleep with it, I feel great.
Hi! I need help.
How about Advil? Will it harm the baby?
Tylenol doesn't really work for me. Only Advil works for my headache.
Tylenol is the safest medicine while pregant?
Can you recommend any other medicines for headache?
Thanks alot!

My DR. said no advil, only Tylenol. You might try a cold cloth, too.
I have had backaches since the beginning and the body pillow works allot of the time. I'm 14 weeks. Otherwise, a good squeeze from DH when I have my arms around his neck. That helps, too.
Thanks for your advise, Maggpie!
I think I had a cold/flu. I know that I can't take any cold medicine, so I wanted to take advil instead. I guess I should avoid it, too.
Thanks again and good luck with your pregancy.
