Hiya!!
I have a 28 day cycle, and should ovulate around the 14th and 15th day which is about right for me.
I have decided to have sex on the 11th day of my cycle right through until the 15th day, i have had some good advice from you all about this and think it sounds right.
But what I was wondering was how long does the sperm stay inside a women? I understand that the egg needs to be fertilized within 24 hrs of its realease but how long can a sperm sit there and still fertilize the egg? as i was a bit confused as i have read that a sperm can stay inside a women for 3 days but it didnt say how long it is fit to fertilize the egg for, as i suppose anything can just sit there but is it still going to do its job days later?

P.S i babysat my cousins little girl the other night! she is 3 months and is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen!!! the midwife said to my cousin she has never seen a baby look so pretty when it has just come out!! LOL!! i cry when i think of her!!
