Hey Ladies. Well okay you won't believe this but I delivered my baby girl by c-section on the 29th. I went to my appt and was automatically put in the local hospital then sent by ambulance to a bigger hospital in a bigger town. The next day they did an u/s and determined that the baby was not getting any blood flow from the placenta to her so they did a section to go ahead and take her. She was born 12 weeks early. She weighs 1lb 10oz and is 13 inches long. Her name is Kalley Marie. She is doing excellent. I was just discharged from the hospital today and we hope she will make it home in the next month or so. She is breathing on her own and has not had to be put on a vent. Her apgars were 8 & 9. The doctors are amazed at how well she is doing considering I only had 1 dose of steriods before they had to deliver. It was a scary situation but we are all doing great. I am going to get some rest now but will keep you guys posted on how everything is going. Thank you for all your prayers and support.

Congratulations!! How wonderful that your little daughter was born safely and is doing well.
Our younger son was born about 13 weeks early, weighed 2lb 3 1/2oz and was also never on a ventilator. I had time for both shots of Beta-Methazone. He was in NICU for 10 weeks, until he could take a bottle and gain weight to 4 1/2lbs. He did have a little intracerebral bleed (preemie blood vessels are fragile) and has a mild form of cerebral palsy. He's 20 years old now, in college, builds computer, is fluent in German, and is learning Chinese just because he's interested. He's amazing and a joy!
I hope Kalley Marie grows strong and continues to do well. ((hugs))) to you and Daddy! Take is a day at a time. Be sure to eat nutritiously and get enough sleep.
Congrats! I am so glad she is doing well. I had my first child 12 1/2 wks early. He weighed a bit more than your daughter, but still stayed at the NICU.
Stay strong. You will see the amazing strides she will make just feeling your presence there.
How often to you get to visit with her? She is a precious preemie.. hehe.. I had a friend who went into early labor and her baby wasn't much bigger than your's. She is now a healthy beautiful smarty pants 3 year old.
Wow congrats on your new baby girl.Im so glad everything turned out well for you both. Im sure you were very scared when it was all happening. Congrats again.
