I have just tried properly for the first time!! came off pill 6 weeks ago and last time didnt do it right! but now i have gained all the right info! 2 weeks to wait!!

And if you remember how much did u have sex and on what days after you period?
The first time, I got pregnant by having sex on day 13. This time, I came off the pill, had an irregular cycle the first month, and got pregnant the second month by having sex on day 11 and 13 (day 14 is supposed to be ovulation day, but we were too tired...lol). Good luck!

U lucky devil!! i did it all wrong last time didnt know enough about it. Only had sex on the 15th at night and 16th!! although the test said i was ovulating, but this month i figured ovulation starts on the 14th day, on the 13th-15th day the test showed i was ovulating but like they say ovulation is likely to occur 24-36hrs after so it was probably on day 14/15.
I had sex on 11th morning- 15th morning!! gotta work!! well jan 15th i will know
Keep in mind that sometimes having sex every day during ovulation decreases the sperm count. If it doesn't work this month (I hope it does), try every other day next month. Sperm lives for up to 5-8 days, so even every other day you still have live sperm in you to fertilize the egg whenever you ovulate. Good luck and be sure to let us know how it goes!
They do say if the sperm count is normal its ok to have sex everyday! every other day is good too, i will definitely do that next time if it doesnt work this time. Prob day 09,11, 13, 15 sounds good to me!

This sounds about right. I have heard doctors say that if you BD on the day you ovulate, then it is already too late. You are supposed to BD 2 days before ovulation and on. Good luck to you!!! Bd on day 12 after your period starts and keep going till day 14.

I've read that the average time to conceive is about 6 months. We conceived in the 5th month. Each month for the first few months I was so convinced I was pregnant and then really disappointed when I wasn't. As it turns out the month I did conceive I was totally convinced I wasn't pregnant and then really shocked when it turned out I was!
I really hope you get pregnant straight away but if you don't, try not to get downhearted because even having sex at the right time doesn't guarantee conception - I think it's a 25% chance each month? It doesn't mean anything is wrong or your doing something wrong, just keep trying and enjoying trying.
I got pregnant in my second month of trying. I read the book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility, to best determine my fertile days month by month. Not every woman ovulates at the same time, so it's best to find out what your days are by following the information in her book.
It really took the mystery out of my cycles.
