I have been reading a few books on pregnancy. I am 10w4d. I read in a few of my books that betwen now and the 13th week I can feel my uterus a few inches below my navel ( top of pelvic bone)if I lightly feel. I think I feel something. Has anyone ever felt it before? What is it supposed to feel like? Is it hard or can you feel small bumbs??? I am just curious? I hope this is not too dumb of a question but my first exam is not until 19 Jan and I am dying to know what is going on in there.
for me, it just felt kinda hard in that area. In a couple weeks, you should definetly feel it though. Lay on your back and then try it. What normally may feel kinda soft, may feel hard at this point.
I am at 16 weeks now but i have been able to feel a hard spot in that area for a while now, but suprisingly i could only feel it standing up until recently. But I have actually started showing a tiny bit now (i am very short, lol) and it's much harder now.
I'm 13 weeks and I know when I lay on my back, I can't feel it, but when I lay on my side, or stand, I can really feel it. It's a really hard spot, like everyone else has described. I have already started to grow out, instead of it just moving up. It's pretty cool.
