Oh, the joys of pregnancy...LOL! Yes, I did, and the other way around too. It's normal. Make sure you drink lots of water to help keep the constipation away and keep you from getting dehydrated during diarrhea. I found that taking Milk of Magnesia (my doctor's recommendation) for constipation helped me get back to normal without going into a bout of diarrhea afterward. Be careful with Kaopectate for diahrrhea (my doctor's recommendation), that sent me into constipation. I hope you feel better!
Me too! It seems to have settled down a bit now (i'm 11 weeks) but was terrible when I was first pregnant. I haven't had to result to any medication but it does seem a very fine balance between too much fruit / water and not enough!!! LOL
Carrots help too. I can't eat sweet stuff now that I am prego, so salads and baby carrots were good. My baby will probably be orange and green but I have not been consitpated more that once.
Which is weird, bc I used to have quite a problem with constipation before I got pregnant. I was really concerned that it would be torchure! I have heard from many friends that prescription prenatal vitamins can 'over load' your system with iron.... Your body needs iron now, but you are going to have to compliment it with fiber to maintain your tummy's happiness.
