Ok first off I want to thank the May momma who cam up with this name for me. I cant member who it was..
We have decided on a girls name to be Makaylee her middle name is something with ANN in it. I dont want plain old Ann I want something like Makaylee RAYANN or something like that...
I need help with this middle name its killing me.
Mommaboyz ~ I was the one who mentioned the name Makaylee to you and I can't tell you how happy I am that you have decided to use it. When I have a daughter, that is what I want to name her. Then we will both have a son named Jayden and a daughter named Makaylee!
Okay, here is a list of middle names, with the name 'Ann' in them.
Middle names to consider, without the name 'Ann' in them.
Traditionally, middle names are kept short because they are thought to 'roll' better with the first name. However, you and I are not ones to stick to traditional names. If you want a long middle name, then go for it.
Thanks Lynn I love all the names here and I couldnt think of any at all. I will have to run them by my dh tonight too. The more I say the name Makaylee the more I love it. The main reason I love it is this. my middle name is Kaye and my granma is Lee and my moms middle name is ann so I can get a piece of all of us in there with this name. Lynn we would look funny together wiht all our kids with the same names wouldnt we? lol Keep them comming.
I LOVE the name Makaylee (did I spell that right? I cant remember) Briann. It sound great together, I think. I was almost gonna name my daugher McKaylee or Bryanna (Bree-anna), but decided on Amayah instead. I dont do so-called "normal" or traditional names either. Nothing like sending your kid to school and having 2 other kids in class with the same name!
Anyway.....wonderful choice for the first name!! LOVE IT!!
How about just "Rae" as a middle name. It is short yet very pretty and is one syllable, since her first name is 3 syllables. I think Rae sounds beautiful. I worked with a gal whose daughter's name was Erica Rae.
Annette is also nice with her first name. And, in essence, a classic name like this is very elegant. I love the name Annette too. Actually, I think it may sound better than Rae because with Rae there would be 2 long "a" sounds in a row, but with Annette, you don't have that problem.
I like the name Brianne or Breanne, it might be easier for other people to pronounce (and not confused with Brian) if you spell it with an "e" at the end.
Just as an extra two cents, I also like Leann/Leanne (or however you want to spell it). Either name would sound beautiful with the first name Makaylee. Good luck in making a decision, and be sure to tell us your final choice!
