Question What are the risks of Flying during pregnancy?
Hi Everyone! We recently found out that we're having a baby girl! I'm taking a vacation and I'm will be in my 4-5 month. What are the risks of flying during that time of pregnacy? Thanks!!

I flew about the same time and I noticed that my legs, ankles and fingers really swelled up. Make sure you drink, drink drink lots of water and don't wearing any constricting clothes (or shoes). Ask your doctor, but mine said I was fine.

I am flying next week to visit my mom... I will be just about 24wks. I knew my doctor would say that it would be fine, but my mom begged me to call him to make sure.

He said I'd be fine but to stop by and he'll have all my records copied to take with me. I think that is a good idea.. you just never know.

It is a short flight for me, just under 2 hours so I am not too worried.

I was 27 weeks when I flew to Ireland from NY, and 29 weeks when I came back. My Dh begged me to call my doctor before hand to make sure it was Ok and she just said have a glass of guniess for me....LOL, it's very high in Iron. Most doctors let you fly until about 32 weeks unless you are having any kind of complications.
