I allways wondered that if i ever got pregnant which i am trying to do! how many items of clothing to buy!! I know they grow quick and i didnt know whether to get mostly 0-3 months or more of newborn for when its born! Soooo confusing!! i would buy both but i want to know how long your babies fitted into the newborn size and what their birth weights are?
Hello I wouldnt get too many 0-3 months. From my exp. they dont wear them long enough plus you dont know how big your baby willl be at birth. 2 of mine couldnt wear them at brith at all. I also recomend keeping the recipts becouse then at least you can take them back for a bigger size. I always get a few 0-3 months and more of 3-6 months. good luck on ttc.
I agree with what mommaboyz said,3-6 is probaly a better option when buying clothes. Of course you should have some 0-3...but I think that only fits up to 12lbs and if your baby is 9lbs at birth it wont last long. I had a ton of 0-3 for my daughter at she didnt even have a chance to wear it all.
I would think 3-6 months also. My best friends second child went home from the hospital in 3-6 motnhs clothes and within a month was in 6-9, now I know that doesnt' ahppen much but her other two out grew all their stuff very quickly also.
Wow thanks alot!! i wont be buying any newborn sizes at all! i will get some 0-3 months i remember my brother had to wear that as he was too long for newborn but my cousins girl is in 0-3 months now and she is 3 months old.

It really depends on the size of the baby! My daughter was born 5lbs 11 oz, and we didn't have any premie clothes in the house. She wore 0-3 month home from the hospital, but she swam in them. We had to go by newborns, and then she was in 0-3 until she was like 5 months old. She's still tiny. She's 14 months old now and still in 6-9 month (comfortably).
