I was told last week I had a missed miscarriage, which I have not emerged naturally. I had been charting primary fertility signs months before I gotten pregnant. I have taking my morning temperature every morning and it has been high, above my coverline. And today I am so cofussed I took a HPT, which came back postivie. Why does the body think its still pregnant. Anyone have any ideas?

I cant offer much advice im sorry. I was wondering how does he know its a missed mc? did they do a u/s? hope all goes well. Im sure more poeple will be of more help to you.

If it is missed M/C then like any M/C it takes time to get all of the HCG hormone out of your body. How long aga did the doctor think you had the M/C? I would ask the doctor for a blood test to see what the levels are and for an U/S to confirm that there is no baby there.

I had the the U/S last tuesday at which point I would of been 11 weeks to the day. The reason why I had the U/S was because I had a small amount of brown blood. But the U/S tech said the baby only developed for 7/8 weeks. I was told to go home and wait. I have had no blood test done. What would they be testing for with the blood test?

When I had the M/C I had to go in every other day for blood work to make sure that the HCG levels were coming down, if they don't then I think you need to have a D&C done because that means you did not pass all of the tissue.
