I am 18 wks and my baby has been moving around for about 2 wks now. I feel it moving every single day! Everyone tells me it is a little early for the baby to be moving this much. Well the DH has felt a kick 2x now himself and this morning the baby was kicking so hard you could see my stomach moving. I was telling my mom and some friends about this and everyone thinks that this is too early. Did any one else have this? Is there such a thing as too early???
this is my 1st too, and he made himself known at about 15-16 wks, and by 18-19 wks, dh felt him too, so i would say, from my experience, no, it isnt too early to feel movemet....just remember that even now, and for about 6-8 wks, that you might have days where you do not feel movement.....it happened to me, and i panicked....turns out this little bugger had turned around....good luck with your preg!
I felt both of mine really moving around 15 or 16 weeks, and it got stronger with each passing day. It depends on several things like your size, the position of the uterus, location of the placenta, etc. Many smaller women can feel movement sooner.

Thanks for the input. I am glad to hear I am not alone. I love it that I can feel the baby now. It makes me feel like I know it is okay in there. But everyone saying it is too early made me feel like I had something wrong.
With my first pregnancy, I could feel my son move at around 12 or 13 weeks as well. First it was this little flutter, then he was just boucing like crazy until he came.
With this recent pregnancy, I thought I would NEVER feel her move. I felt little (and I mean LITTLE) movement when I was like 21 or 22 weeks. I was so scared that something was wrong. But now...holy crud....She is EVERYWHERE day and night.
I felt my daughter move 13 or 14 weeks into my pregnancy, then at 18 weeks I felt the first kicks (always so exciting huh?). I remember I cried I was so happy. And I could see the kicks and feel them from the outside too so no it's not too early for you to be feeling that kind of movement. Enjoy it now because it's something you will really miss after he/she is born.
