Hi Ladies
I took an HPT last night and it came out positive. I haven't had a chance to see my doctor yet. I keep having cramps and I feel like I'm about to get my period any second. Is this normal?
Yes this is very normal, it's your body going through what it normally except this time it is trying to accept your pregnancy. You'll have lots of little cramps and ligaments pulling. This is just the first of many...all minor until the end. Congrats by the way. I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Yeah, your body will go through some WEIRD things over the next several months - boy are you in for a ride!! I say that not to scare you, it is just really weird knowing that you are growing another person inside of you.
Most docs wont see ya until you are like 10 weeks from what i have heard. I got in when I was 7 because I am high-risk... Call a doc asap and get an appointment scheduled. Until then....WELCOME!!
congrats !! cramps are normal unless they are where your in bad pain then you need to go to the doctor. but if there light cramps then we all get them or have had them.
I am pregnant too!! did a test this morning! i have felt pregnant anyway as i am so tired!! first time trying too!! feel very lucky i fell straight away
Congratulations!!!! Cramps are normal unless they are accompanied by bleeding and/or shooting pain that wraps around to your back. You will have all sort of minor cramps and wierd sensations during the first trimester, but they're normal unless you start to bleed.
Congratulations! I remember every time I'd feel those cramps I'd go to the bathroom and expect to see AF but she never did come....I think I stopped doing that after I heard the heartbeat for the first time. Goodluck.
when I was first pregnant I thought I was going to start my period all the time! I was frightened too, but I was assured that is was normal because your body is going through soo many changes. As said before aslogn as their is not any bleeding and pain, you are fine.. Goood luck!
