C-Section and hemorrhoids

Okay, I hvae a question for those woman who have had c-sections........

I had an emergency section on Monday night. There was no pushing involved but there were contractions due to a pitocin drip. On Tuesday afternoon, I noticed that I have what feels to be a HUGE hemorrhoid. I never had a problem before like that during pregnancy. It hurts and burns, etc, and even bleeds just a tiny bit. I talked to my doctor and he gave me some creme and tucks pads for it. But it is weird, because I didn't create tht. It just happpened.

Also, can anyone recommend a good stool softener or laxative? I have been back on a regular diet since Tuesday afternoon. But....still no bowel movement. Not even a desire to go, but I am extremely bloated, and I know that before too long I will be in great pain.

Anyway, any info that anyone has would be great!!

Thanks!!!

Jen

Re: C-Section and hemorrhoids

When I was discharged they gave me a bottle of something called Lactolouse, it worked a treat It took me awhile to get things moving too lol. Wierd cause I didn't do any pushing either just contractions. Not too sure about the hemroid thing though.
