Hi gals,

I am 23 weeks pregnant and generally feeling great. I have been having some weird muscle pains though. In the early evening, the muscles on the sides of my stomach, just under my ribs get really sore. Also, my lower back gets achy. I kind of thought that it was a bit early to be feeling these things but maybe not. It is my first pregnancy so I have no past to compare this to. I also have really sore hips and feel like I am walking around in a permanent pelvic thrust but try as I do, I cannot stand normally. It's kind of funny, I look like a pregnant wife from a 1950's sitcom!

I would love to hear if anyone else is feeling these things.

Hi,

this sounds normal to me, im 19-20 weeks and have been getting muscle type of pains for the past 3 weeks, in fact l have been going on about it on here for ages, as l was not sure if it was normal, ! its probably everything moving and stretching, but what is difficult to work out is if its the baby moving sometimes or kicking! This is my first pregnancy, good luck,
