Re: Swollen

I'm 23 weeks and have PIH, pregnancy induced hypertension, so I know a little about swelling, thankfully though, it hasn't been too bad yet. But I know my dr said to drink, drink, drink. Seems like all that water would swell you more, but it doesn't, it flushes your system out. And lay on your left side as much as possible. Hope that helps!

Re: Swollen

I worked with a girl who developed this problem late in her pregnancy. Her doctor told her to get lots of rest, lay on her left side, and drink plenty of water. Hope this helps!!

Re: Swollen

Drink lots and try to elevate your feet for at least 1 hour a day - more if you can. If I sit too long I get puffy so I get up evry 20-30 min.
