Question cough & cold meds. while pregnant?
Anyone know what kind of cold medicine I can take for this aweful cold of mine. My throat is also hurting, I think coming from all the coughing. I have no clue what kind of over the counter meds. I can take? I am 5 months.

Per my OB's "OK" drug list: cough suppressant Robitussin DM
stuffy nose Sudafed, Dimetapp
runny nose Chlor-trimeton, Tavist
runny and stuffy Actifed
sore throat Chloraseptic, Cepacol gargle
And would always recommend you check with your OB's nurse first. Hope this helps!

My doctor also says you can take over-the-counter cough drops.

You can call your local pharmacist and they will direct you to exactly what you can take while pregnant. Pretty sure tylenol products are safe and sudafed..but I would call or talk to them first just to be safe.
