Re: lemons

Yes. My doc said even koolaid or juice is fine as long as you stay hydrated. Just watch the sugar intake.

Re: lemons

I don't think the lemon should hurt anything might give you heartburn/indigestion if it doesn't agree with the baby...lol...If I'm not mistaken I think lemon helps with morning sickness so it might benfit in the long run.

Re: lemons

Water is water! Like they said even koolaid, or juice is good! And lemon is supposed to help, anything acidic, I drank pineapple juice!

Re: lemons

I've had a hard time drinking water up until a week ago (I'm 15 weeks). Lots of reasons why, but I was adding lemon or lime juice whenever I could get the water down.

I drank crystal light, cranberry juice, decaf coffee, 7UP mostly.

Re: lemons

I agree with the pther posters that water is water, and as long as you are drinking fluids, you'll be fine. I had issues with lemon early on in both of my pregnancies. Not sure why. Lemon Supreme pie made me ill with my first and a glass of lemonade was the first bout of 6 weeks of morning sickness with this one.

Re: lemons

To watch your sugar intake get the sugar free coolaid. It actually tastes sweeter, but no sugar in it, you can drink all you want and still get the water. good luck

I've been told that Splenda hasn't been tested yet and you should stay away from it while pregnant.......

I love water, but another thing that is really good is Propel and Aquafina has a new flavored water also I can't remember the name but its really good! It doesn't have any sugar or anything in them and they keep you hydrated...
