How far along are you? I am 38 weeks and lost mine about a week ago. It was tinged on the toilet paper with brownish/pinkish blood. Just pretty much means that labor is on it's way. Could be a couple days to a couple of weeks I believe, is what some of the ladies have explained to me on here.
I am 32 1/2 weeks.. Mine didnt have any blood that i noticed it was more like a cloudy/clear color. I get it one day really thick like a glob and the next day it will be very thin almost water like. But it will stop for a few days then come back. Is that supposed to happen?

From what I read the earliest most women lose it is at 36 weeks. I'm sure this varies, but 32 1/2 weeks is too early for it to be your mucus plug because loosing it is a sign of the end of your pregnancy, not necessarily labor though.
It is common for a pregnant woman towards the end of pregnancy to experience a discharge. It is white and sitcky, sometimes clear, this happened to me and my dr says this is very normal and happens to all women, yes your baby is on the way, but NO this is not your mucus plug, also known as "the bloody show"

I am 39w3d - due on Wednesday - and I SWEAR, nothing is happening down there! On the 4th I had an appt. and the doctor said I was almost 1 cm. dilated, and on the 11th I was still barely 1 cm. dilated. I haven't had hardly any discharge this entire pregnancy ... and I still have nothing this close to the due date.
I know sometimes women don't notice losing their mucous plug ... but does it really always come out hours or days before labor? Everytime I go to the bathroom I check the toilet HOPING I lost it! I keep thinking that at least when I lose the plug, I'll feel like he's really on his way. But so far, nothing. I am now wondering if it can just come out during delivery. ???
