for a few weeks or even months now, I've had this feeling like something was stuck in my throat, and I am having trouble catching my breath. Currently, I am in my 7th month of pregnancy. I know it is normal, especially in the end, to have shortness of breath feelings - but right now I am having an episode where I've had the shortness of breath for about 20 mins.
I have had a lot of acid reflux during my pregnancy - so bad that the acid comes up and I actually choke on the acid.. I wonder if the feeling of something stuck in my throat is from my throat being so inflammed from the acid or what else it could be. Do you know any non invasive tests that my OB can run on me or what I can do to help my situation?
I doubt anythign got stuck in your throat from having reflux, but it's common to have trouble breathing. I walked down to the garden the other day and had to stop twice, going downhill, to catch my breath, and forget going up hill, I didn't think i would make it! You should ask your dr though about something to take for the reflux, cause it can damage your throat.
