Had my last checkup yesterday, and my midwife felt my belly and said he's head down already! I had a feeling he might have turned, since the pressure on my bladder had increased, and I've been feeling feet & heels up in my ribcage. So my question - don't suppose this is at all indicative of a pre-term birth? None of the other babies in the women in my group were head down yet, and at 30 weeks I thought it was kind of early for him to have turned? Any input?

It's not to early. My Dr at my 30th week told me that they start turning around now or it can be later. A week ago my lil miss was still breech but at an U/S yesterday showed she FINALLY turned. I'm 36 weeks today. I wouldn't worry about it. If your midwife didn't say anything then you are fine. I've been told since 30 weeks that if she hadn't tuned by 36 weeks they were going to try to turn her but thankfully she did it on her own. I'm sure you are fine but like my Dr told me pregnant women worry a lot and so if you need just reassurance call the midwife and ask. No need to stress over nothing

I think my little guys head has been down since about 22 weeks or so. He turned around once or twice, but at almost all my ultrasounds he has been head down.

Remember they have time to continue to move around and be head down or butt down. So far (I am almost 33 weeks) I have found her to be both. (Not at the same time of course)...I thinks it's by about 36-37 weeks they would like to see them head down and stay that way.
