this is my second baby and my 11wk visit was 5-5, they said my uterus is higher than it should be and i have been feeling the baby move for 2weeks almost and my uterus now toutches the bottom of my belly button ,from what i understand in my books on pregnancy your not supposed to feel it move until 14wks,and your uterus dont reach that far until 5 mos does this neccessarily mean i am further along than estmated, my last period was 2-14-05 and normal
Well I am 18 weeks and Ive been feeling the baby move since I was 14-15 weeks. And at my last appt I was 16 weeks and my uterus was just at my belly button. So it could be possible that you are farther along, what did your Dr say about it? An u/s can tell you if you are farther along also. Good luck and let us know.

When I had my Dr appt. on 5-5 they mentioned an u/s but the other nurse that came in to find the heartbeat said something about the heartbeat and they set another appt. for 5-17 and I was told that was odd because I shouldn't have another one for a month, so my nurse practioner might have something to say about it, the heartrate was 170 on 5-5, they only found one so I dont think there is more than one but it is very possible for there to be multiples because it is my generation for twins on my dads side, my mother had twin boys 7 years ago but she was 35 when she got preg. so it could have been her age since the older you are the better chance you have of having twins or several babies. I would feel alot better if I had a u/s done because then I would know for sure, I will see what they ssay at my 5-17 appt. and if she says the same as the others then I will ask for a u/s.
My uterus was higher up earlier on, however I didn't feel the baby move until about 20 weeks. This was my first though, and they said that in 2nd pregnancies you feel the baby sooner. Let us know!
