IPS or Integrated Prenatal Screening

Hey everyone. I just had my first prenantal check-up today and I was wondering if anybody else heard of IPS. I'm more familiar with the MSS (Maternal Serum Screening), which from what I read produces a lot of false positives, correct? Well, for those of you who don't know, IPS is a test that basically measures your chances of having a baby with Trisomy 18, open neural tube defects, and mostly down syndrome. The test is 2 sets of blood work, one of them with an ultrasound on the same day. I was told there are no risks with this, as we all get bloodwork and u/s' done anyway. Anybody else have this done and if so what are your opinions on this test?
