Hi, I need some input before I go crazy! I had my last period April 5. I started light bleeding(only after urinating when I wiped) on April18. I went to the DR on Apr 27 and she took a blood test which came back Positive for pregnancy. On May 8, I took a home pregnancy test (As a mother's day gift for my mom), it came out negative. I took another test today (I am 11 days late for my period) and this test was negative also. I am having continual lower abd cramping and light pink bleeding only when I wipe and sore breasts. What is going on? Do I have an ectopic preg or did I miscarry? Thanks for your help!

I would definitely get back to the doc and get an u/s. Light bleeding and a negative test can be a symptom of an ectopic pregnancy. Though it could just be a healthy pregnancy that doesn't show up. I know many women who have gone on to have healthy babies with negative HPT's. But I would get checked out just in case.

You are definitely pregnant if the blood test came back positive! Cramping and spotting are all normal as long as neither one is severe! You should really call your doctor back and tell her what is goin on tho! When you have a miscarriage you usually have a menstrual type flow or heavier so I really doubt its a miscarriage! Also hpt aren't always accurate! With my last pregnancy I was 2 weeks late and still kept gettin negative hpts. Best Wishes!

Thanks so much for your help. I feel better. I have an U/S on Monday. But after 5 years of TTC and finally getting pregnant, I am a nervous wreck! Thanks again!!
