Bleeding?

I know this has got to be the 1,000,000th time this has been asked but I got some bleeding this morning when I went to pee/wipe. It wasn't super bright like my period usually is but it was washed out red in color. I havn't been having cramps or anything like that but i'm still worried.. I'm only 5-6 weeks and I know theres a good chance of miscarriage. Does this sound like I could miscarry? What should I look for? And how much more blood should I see before I deem this one? Thanks for taking the time to read this! - KC

Re: Bleeding?

Hi,

l had something like that it was not heavy just light pink spot and a slight mark when l wiped myself clean. I was really worried. I went to see my doctor who was not very helpful! l was told to rest. However many of the ladies on this board told me to take it easy and it can be normal, as the body is cleaning it self and may be implantation bleeding. Sometimes sex can cause this too. I would go and see your G.P neverthe less. Hope all is well.

Re: Bleeding?

Thanks for the reply! I'm going tomorrow for an 'emergency visit'. Not to excited because this is my first exam with this doctor. They only can address the bleeding which is good enough for me... I hope they do a U/S so they will be able to hear the heart beating or something! I'm just very scared.. Do you think they will do a U/S at 6 weeks?

Re: Bleeding?

I had an u/s when I was only 6 weeks and I could see the embryo(baby) but no heartbeat yet. So yes they can do one that early, and they did it because I was worried since I had just had a miscarriage. So good luck, and if you can request one to be done for your peace of mind. I had light spotting too and with cramping but everything was good. She is now almost 5yrs old.. Keep us posted.

Re: Bleeding?

Is it normal for the bleeding to come and go? Still no cramps.. but i got spotting in the morning then it stopped all day and now im getting it again at night. It's very light - like a washed out red color. Hum.. I guess I'll just wait and see.... Thanks for the reply!
