Hey everybody - happy Tuesday! Question - I am having these menstraul like cramps at night (34 weeks). It feels like I feel when I am about to start my period. Is this prelabor? I go to the doctor tomorrow, but I'm just curious if anybody else experiences this? It happened on Thursday night, and then last night too. Its not bad, and I know baby is OK (she is constantly kicking me), just wondering if maybe the cramps are me dialating? I didn't go into labor with my daughter b/c I had a scheduled C-section. Not sure what this feels like.
It could be signs of impending labor. You may want to call and ask if they want you to come in today to be checked. If they start to get more intense and closer together, it could be pre-term labor.
I'm 32 weeks, and I know I have been getting a lot of these type of cramps too. I always ask my dr about it cause it worries me, but she has told me that they are very normal, and can hurt pretty bad sometimes. She told me not to worry unless I was bleeding (duh) or if they were consistent, without letting up, or if they were severe. So hopefully all's your feeling is the normal late in pregnancy cramping. But I would maybe call your dr today, just to be certain. But I'm sure everything is okay!
I had the samething when I was around 32-34 weeks and my doctor said as long as it's not constant and didn't come and go everything was fine. It could be BH starting. I swore if I wasn't pregnant that my AF was coming but obviously that wasnt' it. It's just your body getting ready. But just talk to your doctor about it tomorrow. Good luck.
