My babies heartbeat was 175 at 9wks, and now at 13 its 160. They can be different and do change through out the pregnancy. That's what I've been told anyway.
it can range from 130-180 when he is sleeping it will be lower, i don't much think it changes with size, but I might be wrong. But don't be alarmed if it says like 122 or something for a minute, they can be a little lower.
When they did the non stress test on me at one point her heartbeat went to 99 scared the crap out of me but the nurse said she was probably resting because as fast as it went down it went to 150. She also said that when they rest just like us their HB is lower.

I did the non stress thing today, and his was staying right abotu 135-140 the whole time, well I attempted to sit up, and the reading shot up to 208! It scared me, it didn't occur to me that it was because I sat up, it messed up the machine, and my contraction thing went from 18 to 45! Well the nurse came in a minute later and saw the big spike, and said, well then. Then she said, did you sit up? I was very relieved when I realized that was all it was!
They only did the non stress test with me because I hadn't felt lil miss move for two days. I mean she moved but not like she normally did so they just wanted to make sure she was OK. Wouldn't you know as SOON as they put that monitor on me she was ALL over the place. I felt like such a fool but the LD nurse said it happens all the time. She said she thinks the babies like going to the hospital lol so that made me feel better. I had one with my DS also for the samething. So I'm not sure they do it to every pregnant woman unless something is suspicious.
