I'm 7 weeks and I've been having a mild pain that comes and goes on my left side. Sometimes it feels like it's in the front, in my ovary area and sometimes it feel like it's in my back and maybe my kidneys. It is not painful, but it is a little worrysome to me. I've had an ultrasound, so I know it's not ectopic, but I wonder what it might be. I woke up at 2am with it feeling kind of crampy in the back area (and a little more painful than normal). I went to the bathroom and it felt better. Do you think it could be a kidney infection? Or maybe a cyst on my ovary? Most of the time, I don't feel it at all. Any help would be appreciated.

Gee I don't know, I would recommend calling the Dr to see what they say. I know I will have like a dull achy pain in my lower left side, like my ovary, had it before and after pregnancy, so I just assumed it was from adjusting to being pregnant. And I have had alot of back pain so far, but I know its my back, not my kidneys. I know that having a problem with the sciatica (sp?) is common in pregnancy. So I think I would run it by your Dr just it case, its probably nothing, but better safe than sorry.

In the early part of my preg. I would feel like streching cramps but the ussually weren't in my back but the were in the ovary area.the doc could check for a bladder or kidney infection to rule them out I would call to check.
