Question Sneezing and Sharp Pains
Last night in the middle of the night i was laying on my left side when i started sneezing. All of a sudden i felt this sharp pain on the left lower side of my abdomen that hurt so much i had to sit up. It lasted about 15 seconds and then i was fine.

This morning i sneezed and i was fine. Does anyone know what this sharp pain might be?

We all get that in some form or another, it's nothing to worry about. It's called round ligament pain. Just one of those fun aches and pains of pregnancy!

Happens to me as well! The other night DH and I were in bed and I laughed at something funny he said and I got sharp pains. It's just ligament pain as pittbullover said.

I have the same thing happen every time I sneeze. Someone on this board suggested I try to bend over when I sneeze or cough hard and so Ive been doing that and it seems to signifigantly lessen the pain in my sides when I bend over. You should try that next time you sneeze.

Oh, I get those really bad too. Generally when I sneeze it's not just one but a string of them. The other night I was sneezing and screaming ouch all at once. It hurt so bad! Hubby was laughing his head off. These guys have no idea....
