Is this just an old wives tale?

I feel kind of dumb asking this, as I think I know the answer, but can stretching way over your head and just stretching in a different position in general cause the umbilical cord to wrap around the baby's neck? I hardly ever stretch way over my head, but sometimes when I am laying in bed, I stretch in a weird way to try and reach something on my nightstand, and I was just wondering how much truth to this there actually is. Anyone know?
