Is anyone else's hair seem oily since pregnancy?

Okay I wash my hair every other day, but I noticed since this pregnancy on the second day my hair appears to look oily! YUCK? This didn't happen with my 1st pregnancy. Has anyone else noticed this change?

Same here....I had oily hair and now I can go 2 days w/o washing it. It's alos thicker and just overall better! Pregnancy has been good to me in the looks department....no acne, oily hair and I am nicer to people too....Postpartum will probaby be hard for me!

Re: Is anyone else's hair seem oily since pregnancy?

Unfortunately, I'm with Gayle. My hair is crazy dry! I've had psoriasis since I was a kid, but haven't had a "flare up" since I was in the 5th grade. I'm 29 and since I've gotten pregnant, my psoriasis has gone bonkers - especially on my scalp. It's terrible and it itches like crazy! I'm afraid to use the steroid creams so I've been rubbing vaseline on my scalp at night (yuck!) and then scrubbing it w/ T-Gel the next morning. I'm hoping it will all even out.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM!!! i'm now 15 weeks but during the first 2.5 months my hair was SOOOOOO SUPER oily. i mean after one day of work it was visibly oily...YUCK...but now, it's ok. my hair is not oily anymore, infact, it's more on the dry side and is growing so quickly and thick...hope it gets better for you...

Re: Is anyone else's hair seem oily since pregnancy?

So far Ive had a problem with both, oily and dry. I wish my hair would make up its mind!. Some days it looks soo dry, even after conditioning it, others it looks like I havent washed it at all. I miss my long, shiny dark hair. Hopefully after the baby is born it'll come back, so for now I guess I'll have to deal.

Re: Is anyone else's hair seem oily since pregnancy?

In my case my hair goes oily at the roots and dry at the bottom. Because I've been so ill I usually only wash every couple of days (I normally wash everyday) and my hair is a wreck by the time I clean it!! Think Medusa...
