I started having contractions at 4am on a Saturday and finally at 4:48pm on Tuesday my DS was born. He is my first born. I was in "real" labor from 6am on Tuesday until 4:48pm on Tuesday. But all weekend I had contractions I just wasn't dilating so they kept sending me home until Tuesday and I told them I wasn't leaving unless I had a baby in my arms lol. I was lucky and they kept me and my contractions started coming closer so they let me stay.

With #1, my water broke at 3 am. He wasn't ready, as he was face up. he was finally born at 7:46 p.m. the same day. With #2, I woke up with horrible contractions at 6:00 a.m. and she was born at 7:52 a.m. the same morning. And with #3, I went in at midnight to be induced and was already in labor, did not know it. He was born at 5:27 a.m., after my contractions really started about 2:00 a.m.
I went into labor w/#1 at 2am and he was born by 9am.
Interesting story actually...I woke up to sensation that I was peeing the bed...but really my water had broken. I actually WAS prepared for this by puting a garbage bag over the mattress and covering it w/a towel so it would soak stuff up...just in case! My contractions didn't start right away, so I took a shower, which helped...I was VERY uncomfortable by the time we left for the hospital at 2:45am.
I just had my first baby, I went into labor at 2:00am the day after my due date, we went to the hospital at 9:00am that morning, but I didn't have my daughter until 7:25 the next morning.
