Question True or False

I heard that if you eat lots of sugar during pregnancy the baby will be colicy and crave sugar is this true??

That has got to be an old wives tale cause with my 1st, 2nd & 3rd pregnancies I ate sugar everyday. I ate icecream,fruit rollups,candybars. I ate those every single day of my pregnancy my babies were just fine. Not one had colic at all. Now I did gain way too much weight though with those pregnancies. Now I am on pregnancy #4 & I m eating so much better with this one. I have gained what is recommended instead of over eating.
