Question whats it mean?

On all the pregnancy things I can find, they all say "increased cervical mucus"......can anyone put that into real people terms?? I'm sort of confused on what they mean by cervical mucus. Does that mean regular discharge, or does it mean excessive amount of the same stuff ovulation makes?? Or is it neither of the 2. Well if anyone can help me I'd appreciate it.

Re: whats it mean?

For me, it's been more regular discharge - the light wet stuff (as opposed to the egg-whitey ovulation stuff). I just wear pantyliners every day so my undies don't get all scummed up.

Re: whats it mean?

I tend to get a little of both, but as the last poster said, wear panty liners and you won't have the undies ruined lol, or at least dirty quicker then normal

Re: whats it mean?

I have been calling it goo, lol. It's not really thick, just kind of goopy. Like they all said, wear pantyliners or pads, cause it will get your undies all nasty, and some of hte discharge changes to a sort of yellowy color, and that looks really gross, lol.

Re: whats it mean?

It's pretty much an everyday thing. Although, as I have gotten farther along, i noticed it would be less at some times and then ALOT more at others. the past week or so (37 weeks now) it has been really really thick at times.
