Are energy drinks safe during pregnancy, like Red Bull? I know the main reason for avoiding them is the caffeine, but I still drink my coffee, I just don't go over 200mg. There is nothing else that could cause problems that I am aware of, right? I looked up the main ingredients and they are all vitamins naturally found in food we eat. Any suggestions or reasons for caution please let me know.
I don't know about all of them but some of them, (Red Bull is one I think) actually state on the can not to drink them while pregnant or nursing. I don't know if it's the high caffiene content or not but perhaps other drinks have cautions on the labels as well. Sorry I can't answer the why question.
