Heartburn and Water?
Okay this sounds really weird and I still can't figure it out. I can drink just about anything, coffee, pop, juice, tea, you name it and have just a little bit of heartburn if anything at all. Unfortunately if I drink straight water, it's unbearable! Why on earth water? You'd think that with the high acid content of the others, they'd be the ones that are a problem. I went for 3 days and totally avoided straight water, I had a tiny bit of heartburn but nothing major. Last night I drank a couple glasses of water and within an hour I was in agony. I had it all night and still have it this morning to the point I feel like there's an actual lump in my throat.
It's frusterating! Water would be my drink of choice. Everything else is loaded with sugar but I don't want the extreme heartburn. Anyone else heard of that happening? I think it's bizarre. I'm really confused!
