Question numbess in leg

Ive been sleeping on my left side like Ive been told to do, but waking up during the night or early morning with numbness on the left side of my leg for being on it so long. I would switch sides if I could but i heard that sleeping on the left side is best for circulation. When I lay on my back to work the numbess out I get a sharp pins and needles feeling in my leg too. Also when I sleep, I dont move around much, and I havent been sleeping that well lately anyway so now this is making it even harder and I dont know what to do. Is sleeping on your back/right side off limits??

It sounds like your sciatica? nerve. I had this for like a whole month during my pregnancy. It was usually worse when I was lying on my back. Also, there is nothing wrong with sleeping on your right side. I almost always slept on my right side throughout my pregnancy. Good luck to you!!
