I do not drink milk since it bothers my stomach. But to make up for calcium I drink soy milk. If you are up for trying it, I would recommened 8th Continent Chocolate Soy Milk. I go through about a gallon and a half a week. I love the stuff plus it gives you calcium and other nutrients you need. I never took a calcium supplement though so I wouldn't know about that.
There is also yogart, and cheese (certain ones have more calcium, I think Swiss is high) What about orange juice w/ calcium. Goodluck! A supplement should be fine too, but I would check with your Dr. first.
