Red face Diarrhoea in early pregnancy
Hello,

Sorry if this is to much imformation but can anyone tell me if it is normal to have this in early pregnancy I am nearly seven weeks and had it severly last night, felt quite ill, I wasn't sick but kept going hot and cold and to the loo (if you know what I mean).

Is this normal or could it have been a bug. I have four children but never had this with any other pregnancy,
Can any one advise me please..

Hi Sharon,

I think it's unusual but I have had this problem throughout my entire pregnancy. I suggest talking to your doctor, making sure that you don't have some kind of virus or bacterial infection, and drinking a lot of water or gatorade to keep from getting dehydrated.

It's common in early pregnancy. However, if you have nothing but diarrhea for more than a day, you should probably contact your doctor (my midwife said most people alternate between diarrhea and constipation early in pregnancy).
