hi there. i just found out i was pregnant (had been trying for months and was too stressed out so stopped trying, and bam!). probably conceived around may 21-22. in this time, i had a terrible sinus infection and was put on the z pack antibiotics (zithromax i think is what they're called). i took these from may 31-june 4. should i be concerned? it's kind of freaking me out. i have yet to make an appointment w/ an obgyn, although will be doing so asap, so i know i can ask her. but... any thoughts would be appreciated. thanks!

First off, Congratulations!!!! You should be fine! They actually will prescribe some antibotics during pregnancy when needed. But you had that so early on the Baby should be fine, in the beginning the baby gets its nutrients from the yolk, until it starts from the placenta, so try not to worry! This has been discussed alot, talk to your Dr. if it will make you feel better, but don't stress, the stress is worse for you than the antibotics are at this point!! Take care and hope you have a healthy happy 9 months.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! It takes the egg 10-14 days after conception to implant into your uterus and until then, it is self-contained and nothing passes from you to the fetus. This is about the time most women find out they are pregnant. Don't worry about anything that happened before you found out, especially if it was that early on.

Hey If i were you I would not worry at all, Even when you have IVF they give you Tetrocyline to take for a few days before they do the procedure to prevent infection.
The time to worry and be most most careful is 1-3 months
