When I got a yeast infection during my pregnancy my Dr. had me get regular old Monistat...the 7 day treatment though. If your not completely sure though maybe you can call the OB/Triage unit at the hospital you plan to deliver at and ask for their opinion?

I would call the doctor and have them check you out. I had a yeast infection (was prepared for it since I had just finished antibiotics and the doctor warned me), but I also had bacterial vaginosis, which can cause pre-term labor. I had no idea, but was really glad I went in to get it checked out instead of just doing the Monistat 7-day that my doctor told me about when she anticipated the yeast infection.
yes, the over the counter staff is safe, but use the 7day one, it's concentration is spread over more days, so it's supposed to be safer then the 1 day applications, and of course be sure you don't push it in too high up.
