stripping membranes/ contractions

hey ladies. Hope all is well. I'm due June 13 and at my doctors yesterday I had my membranes stripped (very painful, I do not recommend it) but soon after, I began having contractions that were coming 10 minutes apart and that lasted all night. But now, I'm still having contractions but they are not as frequent. A little frustrating, I thought I was getting somewhere. Has this happend to anyone else??
