I am 37 weeks and this morning I woke up with a very upset stomach and I feel as though I don't know which end it's going to come out of. I don't feel good at all......the baby has dropped and there is a lot of pressure down there it hurts a lot. The other day (Thursday Morning) in the shower I was rocking back and forth and it felt like I peed - my back is killing me. Can anyone share what they felt just before they went in to labor? Anything would help me at this point.

I cannot answer your question, but wanted to tell you, you are not alone lol, I am only 34 wks and the other morning, dh and I had sex and afterwards I thought something was going to happen for me also lol, I started having slight bh, and my back hurt, I had major pressure in my rear also, my stomach felt funny as well, god I said I hope you didn't throw me into anything lol, its too early. but as the day went on I felt better. I hope someone can come around with a answer for you.
What concerns me about your post is that you said it felt like you peed. Is it possible that your water broke?? Because if you think it possibly did, it is important to let your doctor know because if your water broke you are leaving yourself & your baby open to infection.
My first symptoms of labor was stinging in the cervical/lower back area with lower back pain as well. Eventually this went into contractions....tightening of uterine area with pain.
Anyway.....I would definitely check in with your doctor if you think there was a chance your water broke. When mine did, it wasn't a whole lot like I thought it would be. Keep us posted with what happens.....Goody
Do you think it was possibly your water? Cause a couple years ago i was at the lake and a bunch of us were swimming and when a friend from there got out of the water her water broke and no one thought it could be her water because she got out of the water. ( did that make any sence?) Point is it could have been your water and you better talk to your docter because if it was you can unexpectantly go into labor or open your self up for infection
I am losing parts of the mucus plug.....it's coming out in chunks! (Sorry!)....When I was at the DR on Monday - she didn't think that my water broke - but did agree to induce on the 24th! So I only have 1 week left! Yiippee!
I had dio and what i thought was a stomach upset with my first daughter'she was born 9 hours after it all started at 38 weeks good luck yes i had that as well i think you are in early labour
