I went in on Tuesday morning at 5:30 to be induced. They started the pitocin at 7:30. I didn't start feeling anything until around 9:30. At around 11 they asked about an epidural and I was going to but they hadn't been able to break my water because she was too high still so I just canceled it because I didn't want the epidural to slow things down. Well 12:30 came and I couldn't stand the pain I was in tears so they got the epidural to me really fast and about an hour or so later they broke my water. It was weird with my DS I didn't feel ANYTHING but this time I could feel when I was having a contraction but I wasn't in pain at all. It was more pressure then anything. Also, with my DS I never had any pressure in the rectum but omg this time with every contraction I wanted to push. I couldn't believe I could feel that. Finally, around 7 they started setting up everything. I had to push past some left over cervix because her heart rate was dropping. I started pushing around 7:30 and at 7:41 she was here. She is beautiful. She weighed 7lbs 15oz. I'm glad they induced!!! She was 20.5 inches long and scored a 9 on both apgars. I'm in so much pain with my chest though. My boobs are so hard and hot and sore. I'm just so happy she is here. She is a GREAT baby!

Congratulations to you. I was thinking of you the other day and wondering how things went for you. She sounds like a beautiful baby. I also had a lot of pressure with the epidural with DS and also had to push at 9 and a half cm dialated so I can relate to you. I am really happy to hear that your birth experience was a good one and that everyone is healthy. Good luck and congrats again!
I was also thinking you of, and so happy to hear all is well. I love her name!!both Jade and Elizabeth were some girl names I was thinking of if i was having a girl.....But i'm having a boy Congratulations!!!!
I had an epidural with my 3rd son and I felt a lot of pressure too. I told my Dr that my back was hurting so bad and he rubbed it with his fist and said let me ck you. He checked me and the baby was almost crowning, I didnt feel pain either, jsut pressure, and I think that was great cause I knew when to push!!
Hope all goes just as well this time! Im scared and still have 20 weeks to go

YAAAAAAAAAY Congrats! I have been thinking of you and looking for your story since last week. Im glad everything went well. I love her name!! I always wanted to name my future daughter Ashleigh Jade! Good luck!
Congratulations. I am glad to hear she is here and all went well. If you haven't seen my post, my little guy is here now too. My milk just came in today but other then feeling full they don't hurt. But I am taking pain meds so maybe that is why. Getting up at 3am is no picnic but then they open those eyes and look at you and you just have to smile.
